The Polish project partner Mimo Wieku Foundation organized the BIG game testing workshop together with the Intergenerational Activity Centre in Warsaw. Ten participants took an active part in the discussion sharing their views on the overall game concept and the scenes.
On September 22nd, 2022, Sandra de Clonie MacLennan and Willeke van Staalduinen (AFEdemy) will give a workshop at the meeting “Ageing in your village”. Organised by the Knowledge Network Population Decline North-Netherlands from the University of Groningen and Hanzehogeschool Groningen.
A pact of Dutch organisations developed the Inspirational Tool Living Environments for Older Adults. The Tool aims to open the dialogue between stakeholders to discuss the challenges and requirements of a healthy and safe living environment.
In May 2022, AFEdemy organised the testing of the BIG Beta version. To find out if the game was understandable, educational and attractive. Also to see if the design should be improved.
Working together with students on the development of the characters and the exchange with international partners about inclusive environments was much liked by the THUAS team. They found it really great to see the test version of the game for the first time. It was so well made, and the characters and environment were designed and drawn so beautifully. This was very rewarding.
At he Hague University of Applied Sciences a social worker, nurse, a young mother, a student and two adult educators came together to experience the game for the very first time.
Thet played the scenes of Anna, a pregnant woman, and Peter, a teenager.
Successful implementation of a workshop in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in which two leaning units of the BIG Concept and Curriculum were tested and evaluated.
SHINE took the first full version of the BIG game to real life and tested it in two days of workshop with 6 people who are part of the target groups of the project.
